not to mention the way the Doctor treats Rory may be dismissive but still is a million times better than how he treated Mickey

I don't see the Doctor's treatment of Rory as being overly dismissive. He does genuinely seem to like Rory, and not just because he's Amy's boyfriend/fiance/husband, but as a person in his own right.

Possibly this is at least in part because Amy treats Rory a hell of a lot better than Rose ever treated Mickey.
