I'm thinking of maybe just not watching at all. I'll start afresh with Moffat, yeah? How about that?

That's what I decided to do a month ago. I downloaded the first DW special, but didn't get around to seeing it yet and decided I'll just watch it after CoE. After CoE I deleted it off my computer and decided not to watch any of the specials, because I don't trust RTD. I'll most likely start watching again when Moffat and the new Doctor take over in season 5.
