There probably IS a next series, the ratings have been phenomonal, so us, what, half a million guys who watched it from the beginning and are devastated don't really amount to much in the scheme of things. There's been a distincly Jack-less vibe to these four episodes so far, certainly in terms of him-working-WITH-the-rest-of-the-team and there are obviously plans afoot for a Gwen Cooper-based Torchwood S4 for all those shiny new viewers. They can have it, we can complain all we like and nobody will give a rat's arse. Such is television.
