I'd missed the "Jack has a daughter" spoiler. So they really are doing a Meet The Family thing with Jack and Ianto in S03.

I want to say I'm going to reserve my opinion for how it plays out, but Family Drama has fallen kind of flat for Jack in the past (it's not really JBs strong point, not his "brother"s either), it leaves me hoping that Ianto does wind up being the (only) one to emote over her appearance, if only because she's "part of Jack" (or even "Jack with a vag"). I have more confidence in GDLs ability to convince me (or at least to keep me from cringing).
