I do have to say, over here, a lot of people choose they're voting for based on the person, not the party. A lot of people will vote against their "preference" if they like the other candidate better.

A lot of people I know have actually been saying you need to look closely at the Vice Presidential candidates, since there is a very good chance that one of them will end up as President!
