Yeah, I commented on the weight in Stolen Earth, because he looked like he had gained A LOT OF WEIGHT, and then in Journey's end, it looked fixed again, so I thought I was imagining it until I read your comment.

(I haven't been able to watch season 2 of Torchwood yet. *SIGH*)
