I find it interesting that this line, regarding Ianto's stopwatch and diary, hasn't been quoted anywhere, because it's one of those things that makes me love Gareth's brain sometimes, he says Ianto has a: "... need for things that are timeless and lasting works... and, on another level, Jack is timeless and lasting as well, and you see Ianto's fascination after he sees him on the screen in From out of the Rain..." The boy does think things well and truly through sometimes, it's so sweet.
