Best example of this, imo, when he's serving tea in Small Worlds, after he serves Jack, you only see his hand moving the cups, you don't see any other parts of him at all, and my attention is riveted to the cups (and the hand moving them), rather than to the conversation. What is it about GDL that he steals the scene when he's just a disembodied hand????
